「Education Sessions：非小細胞肺癌のオーダーメイド治療―治療法選択のための組織検査」の座長 Julie R. Brahmer氏に聞く

I think over the past year we've learned more and more that for lung cancer, to personalize therapy is based on histology -- particularly what Dr. Scagliotti described as the difference in histology response and the increased survival in patients with non-small-cell histology and pemetrexed. I think we're learning over the next several years that there may be differences as well with other agents.

EGFR mutations：上皮成長因子受容体変異
I think as Japanese oncologists you have a special population, a higher rate of non-smokers, particularly in your female population. And we know that gefitinib works in that population, particularly if they have EGFR mutations.
